Unthinkable picture added to the Gallery
A picture from the Gregor Jordan directed film ‘Unthinkable’ has now been added to the Gallery.
The general worldwide release of this project was jeopardized by the financial difficulties of its production and distribution company, Senator. Despite a stirling cast of Samuel L Jackson and Carrie-Anne Moss along with Michael Sheen, this project is not getting a theatrical release in the UK but will be out on DVD in June.
A US release was expected, but despite a release date being advertised on IMDB, that has now disappeared so it is still in question.

Unthinkable – Straight to DVD
Sadly, the film Unthinkable does not look as if it is going to get a theatrical release in the UK. Amazon.co.uk have started accepting pre-orders on the DVD prior to a June 14th release date.
IMDB are still listing a theatrical release date of 8 April for the Netherlands, and have recently added 19th May for the US.
This psycological thriller is about Younger, an American Muslim man who claims to have nuclear bombs planted in three U.S. cities. With only two days before they are deployed, a black-ops interrogator and an FBI agent have to decide how far they will go in trying to get the captive terrorist to divulge the whereabouts of the bombs. The film also stars Samuel Jackson, Carrie-Anne Moss and Brandon Routh.

2 more Michael Sheen films on Dark Horizon’s Watch list.
Dark Horizons.com have been doing a feature highlighting films to look out for in 2010. ‘The Special Relationship’ was featured the other day, and in the most recent episode they have both Tron Legacy and Unthinkable.
Sadly, they reveal nothing new about Michael’s role in Tron Legacy.
“Michael Sheen will serve as the film’s villain, a night club owner inside the Tron world rather than a new version of the MCP [Master Control Program] as previously rumoured.”
For Unthinkable they touch on the topic of its delayed release.
“Originally slated to be released through the now defunct Senator Distribution, the project went on the block at the AFM in November. Several international territories are set, but the film has yet to be picked up for US distribution inspite of the involvement of the likes of Sheen and Jackson.”
