Michael Sheen supports Sheffield FC and Boots for Africa
Michael Sheen has donated the shirt he wore for this year’s Soccer Aid to Sheffield FC who are having a charity auction.
The auction which will be held on Thursday 21st October 2010 at the Sheffield FC Annual Dinner will raise funds for the club’s Boots for Africa charity.
“I’m the little blonde in a parka,” she says.
Rosie from Chesterfield, struck up an acquaintance with Sheen while filming. So she didn’t waste any time in tweeting him for something to auction
People interested in placing a bid before the night for this fantastic piece of memorabilia can do so by emailing Lee Walshaw – lee@sheffieldfc.com or by calling the club on 01246 292622.

2 Soccer Aid 2010 videos added to Video Gallery
Two videos from last night’s Soccer Aid 2010 match have now been added to the Video Gallery.
The first video is of the exciting penalty shoot out finale. When the final whistle blew, the match score was 2-2. To decide the winner each team gets to take 5 penalties. As both teams scored 4 out of the 5, it then came down to what is known as ‘Sudden Death’. Each team takes a penalty, and if only one team scores, then that team wins – they had 7 rounds of sudden death, one of which was taken by our very own Michael Sheen. The man of the match was however Woody Harrelson, who managed to score his penalty right after Paddy McGuiness missed his for England.
The second video is a recap of Woody’s final penalty, and the medal and trophy presentation for the winning team The Rest Of The World, and their captain, Michael Sheen.
The re-match is set for 2012.
