American Cinematheque’ at the Aero Theatre are having an ‘Evening With Michael Sheen’ on August 26th at 7:30pm.

This speacial evening will be a chance for US audiences to see ‘Fantabulosa! for the first time, the biopic of Kenneth Williams – a beloved British comedian and actor, famous for his roles in the Carry On film.  This will be followed by a showing of ‘Carry On Camping’.  There will also be an opportunityfor discussion with Michael Sheen inbetween.

The venue is Aero Theatre, 1328 Montana Ave, Santa Monica, and tickets are available from Fandango ranging from $7 to $11

This is a very unique opportunity, and I am envious of all able to attend.

In this brilliant BBC drama about a well loved British actor, Michael Sheen plays Kenneth Williams.  Famous for his roles in the Carry On movies, Kenneth Williams played the fool in public, but in private was a deeply unhappy man.  The story is derived greatly from Kenneth Williams’ own diaries, and Michael Sheen gives a brilliant and complex performance of a brilliant complex man.
