| Synopsis:
Meyrick, the volatile owner of the bric-à-brac shop in Swansea, wields a curious influence over two young men: Johnnie, a man-child with a voice made in heaven whom he found on the streets; and Leyton, a teenager whose confusion and vulnerability hold the key to their ruin. However, it is only after Speed, a compulsive gambler, chances upon their secrets and sets about blackmailing his way to some ill-deserved cash, that a comic nightmare unfolds. |
