| The fourth part in the teen fantasy drama.Bella and Edward are married. While on honeymoon, Bella realises she is pregnant but the pregnancy is accelerating at an unnatural pace. In his concern for her welfare, Edward tries to convince Bella to have an abortion, but she refuses.Meanwhile, the wolf pack are unsure if the child will represent a new threat and plan to destroy it. Jacob protests, and leaves to form his own pack.Bella suffers so many injuries during the delivery of her baby, that in an effort to save her, Edward turns her into a vampire. Jacob, who was present at the birth, imprints on the baby that has been named Renesmee.It is mis-reported to the Volturi that they have created a vampire child, which the Volturi have deemed illegal so they plan to destroy the baby and the Cullens. To protect themselves, the Cullens call all the world’s clans of vampires to witness that the baby is not an immortal child.The Volturi discover their mistake, but remain undecided on the fate of the half vampire half human child. Another crossbreed, brought to witness by Alice, convinces the Volturi that Renesmee is no threat, so they return to Italy, leaving the Cullens in peace. |
