Years after the events of the first adventure, Alice, now aged nineteen years old, attends a party at a Victorian estate only to find she is about to be proposed to in front of hundreds of snooty-society types.
She runs off, following the White Rabbit into a hole and ends up back in Wonderland, the whimsical world she first encountered in a similar manner 12 years before as a young girl.
She is reunited with her childhood friends: the White Rabbit, Tweedledee and Tweedledum, the Dormouse, the Caterpillar, the Cheshire Cat, and of course, the Mad Hatter.
Wonderland was a peaceful kingdom until the Red Queen overthrew her sister, the White Queen. The creatures of Wonderland are ready to revolt, and wait for Alice to help them. With the help of the White Queen, the Mad Hatter and the Caterpillar, Alice starts seeing flashbacks of her original visit, back when she was seven.
