Amazon.com have added  Beautiful Boy to their catalogue.  As yet, they are not displaying a release date, but if you have an Amazon.com account, you can sign up to be notified when it is announced.

So far, there is nothing on any of the other Amazon stores.

IMDB are reporting a DVD release date of 3 August in Sweden, so I am hoping that a worldwide DVD release will be around the same time. As soon as there is anymore news I will let you know.

If you didnt get a chance to watch the Neil Gaiman episode of Dr Who, featuring the voice of Michael Sheen as the House, or would just like an opportunity to watch again – well good news! It is now available for pre-order on Amazon.

Series 6 Volume 1 features episodes 1 to 7 (The Doctor’s Wife being episode 4) and will be released July 11 in the UK, and July 19 in the US.

TRON: Legacy, the family action movie event of the year, is available to buy on Disney 3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD from today in the US.

The high octane sequel to the 1982 cult classic, TRON: Legacy tells the story of Sam Flynn (Garrett Hedlund), who when investigating a strange signal that appears to have been sent by his long lost dad, finds himself pulled into a digital world where his father Kevin (Jeff Bridges) has been stuck for 20 years.  Michael Sheen makes a small, but memorable, appearance as Castor, the owner of the End Of Line club in the virtual world of the Grid.

Tron Legacy will be released on DVD/BluRay on 11th April 2011 in the UK.

So far, I have not been able to determine a US release date, but as the theatrical release was the same I imagine that the disc release date will be similar if not the same.

The 2007 short film ‘Airlock, or How To Say Goodbye In Space’ is to be released on DVD in the new year.

Capture Anthologies release a new anthology every quarter. Each anthology is based around a specific theme, featuring a choice of different genres.   Their next release, due out 15th January 2011, is entitled ‘The Dimensions Of Self’ and features ‘Airlock’ amongst its titles. The other films on this particular anthology is Human Assembly, Dupe,
Siubhlachan (the Traveller), The Un-Gone, Schizofredric and Clone.

Airlock is the story of two astronauts stranded in a spacecraft miles above earth, waiting for the phone call that will decide their fate.
