To celebrate the BFI National Archive’s latest restoration, we are offering two tickets to see Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland at the BFI IMAX (1 Charlie Chaplin Walk, London, SE1 8XR) on Wed 24 Mar at 9pm.*
To enter the competition…
1. Watch the 1903 version of Alice in Wonderland below.
2. Count/guess the number of human cards featured in the Red Queen’s grand precession scene (7:07 minutes in to the full-length film)
3. Email your answer to competitions@bfi.org.uk, with “Count the Cards” in the subject line by 8 Mar 2010

Every year for National Doodle Day, many celebrities are approached to donate a doodle which is then auctioned off for charity to raise money to help those suffering from epilepsy and neurofibromatosis.
This year Michael Sheen is amongst the many celebrities that has generously submitted a doodle. All the celebrity doodles will be sold by auction on Ebay.co.uk, commencing Friday March 5th. You can also purchase items such as mugs, and mousepads with the celebrity doodle of your choice on it, with all proceeds going to the above charities.
Vote Michael: For UK visitors, you can also vote for Michael’s doodle as the best doodle of 2010 by texting DOODLE 1783 to 80039.

Proceeds from the auction benefit the SAG (Screen Actors Guild) Foundation, currently celebrating its 25th year, to help make possible the Foundation’s nationwide children’s literacy programs now reaching 100,000 children per week through BookPALS (Performing Artists for Literacy in Schools) and Storyline Online, the Foundation’s Actors Center and Foundation programs providing emergency relief to members in economic distress, emergency funds for members with catastrophic illnesses, video and audio preservation of the creative legacy of SAG members and scholarships for performers and their children.
