Michael Sheen will be appearing at Oxfordshire Mind on October 26th to give a talk about his varied career in film and theatre in aid of Mind. Details below.

The dates for the Breaking Dawn 2 promo tour were confirmed yesterday by Summit, and will feature many of the cast as they promote the upcoming release of the final part in the Twilight saga.

The given promo tour schedule for Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, and other featured members of the cast including Michael Sheen. Their media venues and social appearances are also expected to include in-depth interviews, hints about the movie, and guest arrivals around the world, with U.S. talk show appearances and fan interview opportunities.

Having looked at the schedule, it seems Michael will only be joining the cast on the Los Angeles part of the tour, between October 28th and November 3rd.

This coming Sunday sees the 2012 Soccer Aid match at Manchester United’s Old Trafford stadium, where a celebrity team from England battle against the Rest Of The World in aid of UNICEF.

The match will be live on ITV1 from 6pm in the UK, and online. Prior to the main event, there are three preview shows this week.

Robbie Williams has confirmed today that Soccer Aid 2012 will take place again this year, on May 27th 2012.

Michael Sheen was one of the first celebrities to sign up, along with Marvin Humes and Aston Merrygold from JLS, Gordon Ramsay, DJ Jamie Theakston and footballers Teddy Sheringham and Edwin van der Sar.

At the last Soccer Aid in 2010, Michael Sheen led the ‘Rest Of The World’ team to victory over Robbie Williams’ ‘England’.

The match will take place once again at Manchester United’s Old Trafford, hosted by Dermot O’Leary. Dave Berry will front the Extra Time coverage on ITV4. O’Leary will also host three build-up shows from the players’ hotel, which will feature behind-the-scenes footage and direct access to the stars taking part.

A complete list of presenters has been announced for the 18th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, which will will be held on Sunday, January 29 in Los Angeles. Michael Sheen as been announced as one of the presenters of the award ceremony which will be aired live on TBS at 6ET / 3PT.

UPDATE:  It seems ladies and gents, that I was mis-informed. Michael is NOT presenting an award – but he is listed along with his Midnight In Paris cast mates for Outstanding Performance by a Cast
