Last night (19th) Michael Sheen, Dennis Quaid and the cast and crew of HBO’s “The Special Relationship” attended the premiere at the Directors Guild of America Los Angeles.

Michael Sheen and his fellow Alice In Wonderland cast members, braved the London rain to attend the Royal Premiere at The Odeon in Leicester Square tonight.

Tim Burton and partner Helena Bonham Carter arrived together. Also on the red carpet were Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Mia Wasikowska, Barbara Windson, Timothy Spall, Matt Lucas and Sir Christopher Lee.

Ironically, Odeon was one of the chain of cinemas that had publically claimed they would boycott the film due to a dispute with Disney over the window between the theatrical and DVD release. Cineworld and Vue were also claiming to boycott the film but they reached an agreement several days ago, and Odeon claimed today that they have also settled the dispute with Disney and will now be showing the 3D movie on its release date of March 5th.

Michael Sheen has been photographed with Wes Bentley at the opening of Classic Stage Company‘s Venus in Fur on Tuesday, January 26.

The two appeared together in the 2002 film, The Four Feathers in which Michael played William Trench and Wes who played Jack Durrance. The film also featured the late Heath Ledger in the lead role.
