Variety have confirmed the air date in the US for Michael Sheen’s final Blair project, The Special Relationship.

The HBO funded biopic, written by Peter Morgan and directed by Richard Loncraine will air May 29th.   Michael Sheen once again appears as ex Prime Minister Tony Blair. The film is set to focus on Britain’s relationship with the US during the time of Clinton’s Presidency. Clinton will be played by Dennis Quaid.

The film is still set for a theatrical release in the UK at the beginning of May.
