Michael to appear in a photograph exhibition.
Michael has been photographed in a trilby for a new photographic exhibition that is promoting climate change.
Many well know celebrities appear in the exhibition such as singer Cerys Matthews, actors Jane Horrocks, Richard E Grant and Gillian Anderson, football pundit Gary Lineker and the Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams.
Each photograph contains a quote, and Michael’s reads
“This century will be a green era of invention and even new ways of living, and all driven by our need to be green.”
Welsh photographer Cambridge Jones has captured more than 20 big names on film for the show, which has been opened by London mayor Boris Johnson at his City Hall office. Jones, who is originally from Llanidloes, was given just four weeks to gather his celebrity portraits for the major show.
He is a huge fan of Michael Sheen and said “Michael is one of the most genuine and interesting people I have had the privilege to photograph,” he says. “I have known him since he was at Rada (Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts) and had the pleasure to photograph him for four books.”
Cambridge Jones’ photographs are on show at London’s City Hall until March 19.
