Michael Sheen and Alice In Wonderland cast brave the rain for Royal Premiere

Posted on February 25th, 2010 by madnad  |  No Comments »

Michael Sheen and his fellow Alice In Wonderland cast members, braved the London rain to attend the Royal Premiere at The Odeon in Leicester Square tonight.

Tim Burton and partner Helena Bonham Carter arrived together. Also on the red carpet were Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Mia Wasikowska, Barbara Windson, Timothy Spall, Matt Lucas and Sir Christopher Lee.

Ironically, Odeon was one of the chain of cinemas that had publically claimed they would boycott the film due to a dispute with Disney over the window between the theatrical and DVD release. Cineworld and Vue were also claiming to boycott the film but they reached an agreement several days ago, and Odeon claimed today that they have also settled the dispute with Disney and will now be showing the 3D movie on its release date of March 5th.

A picture of Michael attending the premiere has now been added to the Gallery. Please click on the thumbnail below.
