I cannot even begin to say how excited I am that Michael is appearing in this film. I loved the original film - such a classic, and incredibly groundbreaking effects in its day so I have high hopes for this.

| Jeff Bridges reprises his role as Kevin Flynn in the sequel to the 1982 sci-fi classic. Since the end of the last film, Encom corporation have been hard at work on the X-Net - the solution to the worlds internet problems. When the world suffers from a global internet virus attack, X-Net is seen as the solution. Unfortunately, this attack has been engineered by its CEO named Sinclair. In the first film, Flynn fought along side Tron to defeat the Master Control Program. In the current timeline, Flynn was digitized once again several years ago and has remained alive inside the system as a freedom fighter. Flynn uses the Tron program as the base code for a powerful new application that's designed to take down X-Net. |
